Subject :  ISPS  Training  Course

                  (ISPS Code and related SOLAS Amendments adopted 12/12/2003)

 

In our effort to assist the Philippine Maritime Sector with regards to the ‘INTERNATIONAL SHIP and PORT FACILITY SECURITY (ISPS) Code which will be effected from 1st July 2004,  we are planning to conduct a training course with the following coverage:

 

Ř       Requirements and Interpretation of ISPS Code

Ř       Explaining the inter-relationships between the various personalities and organizations,  as outlined in the ISPS Code and

Ř       show how the operational measures prescribed in

·         Parts A (mandatory requirements Ch XI-2 of the SOLAS) and

·         Part B (guidance for establishing and implementing the measures and arrangements needed to achieve and maintain compliance with the provisions of CH XI-2 and Part A of the Code) 

This Code applies to:

Ř       passenger ships, including passenger high-speed craft

Ř       Cargo ships, including high-speed craft of 500 GRT and upwards

Ř       mobile offshore drilling units

Ř       Port facilities serving such ships

 

This  seminar  would  be   handled  by  a  Bureau Veritas (BV) Certified ISPS  trainer, (Mr. A.M. CHAUVEL)  and  it  will  be  held  on:

 

1.  17-19  November  2004   -  MANILA      VENUE  :  To  be  announced   later.

Course  Fee  :  Php12,000.00 + 10%VAT/ per  delegate

 
 
 


                                

 

Please  note  that  examination  is  required,  only  the  candidate  who  pass  examination  can  have  CSO/SSO/FPSO  certificate.
